Madiskarte Moms PH started as a way for mothers to support and encourage entrepreneurship among those who yearn to earn from home while prioritizing time with family. It serves as a platform to help mothers in the Philippines start businesses by providing a community where Filipina moms can learn, share, and thrive. Madiskarte Moms PH features a website, which hosts a variety of educational videos, webinars, and community-contributed resources about business planning, marketing, and finance, with the aim of inspiring those who are just starting. It has become a movement that recognizes members who have worked their way up to become successful local business owners through its annual awarding ceremonies known as Gawad Madiskarte. Supporting the community of mothers is PLDT Home, which provides connectivity to support the online activities of Madiskarte Moms PH. Among the businesses that flourished under the program are the: (1) ULAP Bedsheets, the bedding business of Antoinette Chaela Icabales, which garnered social media attention; (2) MP Nieva’s Flower Company by Jenielyn Sicabalo-Nieva, which successfully rose from the hardships of the pandemic; and (3) Xavier & Xandrei, Melissa Moscoso’s social enterprise, which sells eco-friendly products in 14 countries. In recent years, Madiskarte Moms PH became a recipient of the following recognitions: (1) Stevie Awards in 2022; (2) 58th Anvil Awards March, 4th ASEAN PR Excellence, and 3rd SDG Awards in 2023; (3) Stevie Awards in 2024.
