Brief Description
Creating new destination for food waste at the source is the main objective of teaching the Bokashi method to our Soilmates. Households, Offices, and Businesses with very little food waste generated daily, or to those who have learned how to minimize their waste - they need not worry about disposing their food waste daily. They just need to learn the art of layering food waste in a bokashi bucket with Bokashi bran. Being able to encourage or influence more and more households and businesses to practice bokashi composting will increase the demand for Bokashi Bran. GreenSpace envisions setting up local production partners to eliminate the need for transporting bokashi from a centralized production site to different composting areas. Localized production will not only shrink our carbon footprint, it will also create more green jobs.
