The Youth Engagement and Network Strengthening for the Bangsamoro (YES Bangsamoro) Project

The Youth Engagement and Network Strengthening for the Bangsamoro (YES Bangsamoro) is a UNICEF-supported programme that aims to enhance the capacity of Bangsamoro youth to actively pursue peacebuilding, community initiatives and actively participate in nation building. The YES Bangsamoro programme in particular, will focus on the following: a) Support youth organizations and network leaders to maximize the current online social media platform (U-Report) in advocacy and youth-led campaigns, b) Target more youth organizations and networks that have not been previously reached by the program, c) Collaborate with other development stakeholders that engaged adolescents and young people including disengaged children and other youth-sectors/groups, d) Ensure sustainable engagement by providing U-Reporter’s ownership of the U-Report platform; and e) Develop integrated strategies in ensuring that activities are effectively carried out to achieve the expected outputs and outcomes despite of and in the face of COVID-19.
