Telstra Foundation- SHS School-Industry Linkage through DepEd Schools Division Office

The project aims to develop models that will strengthen industry and academe linkages for the purpose of providing better access to quality education to students. This will be done by strengthening the capacity of SDOs in engaging industry partners. Specifically, this project aims to: 1. Provide technical assistance on industry linkage to Schools Division Offices through 9 Regional Workshops; 2. Identify key priorities, per SDO, that will enable Senior High School to deliver its promise of quality education that is relevant and appropriate and will allow SHS Gradu-ates to have the necessary skills and competencies that will prepare them for higher education/ work/ enterprise development; 3. Facilitate the identification of opportunities for partnerships between business and industry and Schools Division Offices; 4. Match the education sector’s requirements with the business and industry needs or capabilities; and 5. Assist in institutionalizing partnerships and interventions in the SDO level.
