Strengthening Bipartite Relations at the National and Enterprise Levels (Confederation of Danish Industry)

The project aims to promote a more pro-active and mutually beneficial relationship between labor and management through the establishment of a functioning and institutionalized bipartite dialogue and the conduct of enterprise-level activities that capacitate both worker and management representatives to engage in effective dialogue and other negotiation activities. Through this initiative, ECOP was able to establish the Leaders’ Forum, a national bipartite dialogue mechanism composed of the largest business organizations and trade unions, namely, ECOP, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Philippine Exporters Confederation (PHILEXPORT), the Federation of Free Workers (FFW), Sentro ng mga Nagkakaisa at Progresibong Manggagawa (SENTRO), and the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP). The LF was established to discuss issues of common interest to both sectors which may culminate into signing a social accord or policy paper containing consensus points and recommendations of both partners.
