Recovery and Resilience-building in the Philippines - Services of a Non?Government Organization (NGO) to Implement Green Recovery Strategies through the Establishment of Green Enterprises in BARMM.

The project aims to support the strengthening of the existing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and create new sustainable livelihood opportunities in the communities. Green economic recovery and community empowerment framework are the two main approaches of this project. It also support to the economic aspect of the normalization process as it would contribute in the transformation and development of the MILF camp, particularly the Base Commands (BC) Cooperatives. Because the project sites are farmland owned by MILF combatants the focus of the project is agriculture and related agriculture livelihood. Capacity development trainings were also given to the BC and received grant support to start their green enterprise
