PlantSmart

PlantSmart program is PLDT and Smart's umbrella program on food security and is aimed to support the government’s food security initiatives, particularly the Department of Agriculture’s Plant, Plant, Plant program to help address the issue of food security, sustainable agriculture, and affordable nutrition. This consists of: 1) Kalye Mabunga, an urban gardening web series, 2) PlantSmart kits, a package that contains vegetable seeds, fertilizers, and loam soil being distributed to encourage communities to embrace urban gardening, and 3) PlantSmart GrowHub, an edible garden being set up at idle spaces, including the company's offices, that is aimed to produce healthy food for its employees and partner communities.
