Installation of rainwater collection tanks Donation of 1000-liter water tank/pump in adopted school Subabasbas School, Cebu. Donation of handwashing station at our adopted school in Southville 5A, Biñan, Laguna. Green EMS Program - a 5R Program together with our Envi, Health & Safety Dept. (EHS). Refuse - use of single-use plastics, together with our GREEN LANE at Canteen where we endeavor to use less plastics and say no to food waste. Reduce - use of water and electricity through installation of rainwater collection tanks and solar panels and participation to annual Earth Hour. Reuse - annual preloved clothings/items sale where proceeds are used for calamity relief efforts. Recycle - scrap materials like used uniforms turned into UniBags for our Balik Eskwela Program and recycled IC Trays turned into plant boxes and other factory/office containers. Repair - broken gadgets, computers, etc. and refurbishment of old mobile phones by our IT Dept. Tree Planting and Backyard Tree Planting - 4,245 trees planted (Calabarzon area) in partnership with Laguna Lake Development Association and Dept. of Agriculture Biñan and Silang - where we target 1 tree per employee by 2029 Employee Vegetable Garden - in Partnership with Laguna Lake Development Authority and Dept. of Agriculture Silang and Biñan Vertical Garden - installation of vertical garden by our Facilities Dept. using recycled IC TRays for 590 plant boxes with 750 plants planted. Mangrove Planting (Cebu) - 250 propagules planted in partnership with LGU - Municipality of Consolacion. EMSG Earth Hour - an annual Earth Hour participated by EMSG employees at the factory and employees at home.
