Construction of the Valenzuela Water Reclamation Facility (WRF)

60 MLD Capacity. The WRF will be operated in accordance with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) effluent standards outlined under DENR Administrative Order 35 Series of 1990 (DAO 90-35). The main objective of this Project is to treat the wastewater generated within Valenzuela currently flowing untreated through a series of drainage and collection channels into the Tullahan River to a degree needed to comply with the applicable and current standards for the discharge of effluents as per DENR-DAO Standards. This is in line with Maynila's commitment to improve sanitation and sewerage services within its concession area and to reduce the pollution to water bodies.
